High-power diesel engine piston production line

This production line is mainly used to complete all processing content for φ120~240mm ring-carrier aluminum alloy piston semi-finished rough blanks, from loading to finished machining. The processing equipment of the entire production line consists of Yipai vertical multi-functional lathes, Taiwan Fuyu vertical machining centers, and Yipai CNC special-shaped pin hole boring machines. Part transfer adopts a combination of articulated robots and automatic material channels, achieving high flexibility and high automation of the production line. The overall technical indicators of the production line have reached international advanced levels.

Production line technical description: Mainly composed of 3 single-column CNC piston outer cylindrical vertical lathes, 3 vertical machining centers, 1 double-spindle CNC piston irregular outer cylindrical vertical lathe (using a linear servo tool post system), 1 CNC piston irregular pin hole boring machine, 1 piston pin hole combination boring machine, etc. Workpiece transfer uses 3 FANUC articulated robots and 4-section transfer chutes to complete automatic loading and unloading, realizing unmanned automatic processing. It mainly completes the rough and fine machining processes of the piston's outer circle, ring groove, top surface, combustion chamber, pin hole, and valve recess.

This production line has a total length of about 28.0 meters, a total width of about 6.0 meters, and a total height of about 3.5 meters. The production line uses Mitsubishi multi-channel bus control. A typical workpiece piston weighs about 10 kilograms, and the processing cycle is about 180~240 seconds.
