The Party branch of Changsha Epoch CNC Co., Ltd. of the Communist Party of China carried out a themed Party day activity of "Carrying forward the revolutionary spirit and remembering the original aspiration and mission"
On October 24, the branch of the Changsha Epoch CNC Co., Ltd. of the Communist Party of China (CPC) held a themed party day activity with the theme of "Carrying Forward the Revolutionary Spirit and Remembering the Original Aspiration and Mission."

At 9:00 am, the branch members and active members of the party went to Tian Han's former residence. First, they watched the outdoor situational drama "Tian Han and the National Anthem," learning about Tian Han's life from his time studying at Changsha Normal School to composing the "March of the Volunteers." Afterwards, the branch members visited the Tian Han Art Center and Tian Han's former residence.
Mr. Tian Han was an outstanding member of the Communist Party of China, an outstanding proletarian cultural warrior, one of the pioneers of modern revolutionary culture in China, and an outstanding playwright, lyricist, and poet. During the democratic revolution, with the spirit of a "brave and fearless proletarian cultural warrior," he united and led a large number of progressive cultural workers, using literary and artistic works as weapons to fight tirelessly for national independence and national liberation. In his lifetime, he created more than 100 plays and nearly 2,000 lyrics and poems, leaving behind a rich cultural and artistic legacy. Among them, the "March of the Volunteers," with lyrics written by Mr. Tian Han, became the clarion call for the Chinese nation's resistance against aggression and was later selected as the national anthem of the People's Republic of China.

At 3:00 pm, the Epoch CNC branch, together with three other party branches from Xin Chang Hai Development Group, Hunan Yongchuang Electromechanical, and Xin Chang Hai Technology, jointly watched the film "Half a Quilt."

The film tells the story of the Long March, during which three female Red Army soldiers stayed at the home of Xu Jiexiu, a villager in Shazhou Village, Rucheng County, Hunan Province. Seeing that the Xu family did not even have a quilt to keep warm, before leaving, the female Red Army soldiers used scissors to cut open their only quilt and left half of it to Xu Jiexiu. After the Red Army left, Xu Jiexiu cherished the memory for more than fifty years, keeping this touching story in her heart for over five decades. Even with extremely scarce resources, the Red Army soldiers prioritized the needs of the people, demonstrating the deep bond between the Communist Party and the people, sharing weal and woe, and the unchanging original aspiration of the Communist Party to always rely on and serve the people.
Through a day of themed learning activities, we have deeply established the goal of "people-centeredness and seeking happiness for the people." We will focus on our work, take the lead, be brave to take on responsibilities, and give full play to the exemplary role of Party members.
