Comrade Chen Guoquan is a professor-level senior engineer and a technical backbone in ultra-precision machining. He is a major founder of research on CNC machine tools with irregular cross-sections and linear servo mechanisms. He has profound expertise in CNC machine tool technology, special motor theory, structural design, computer hardware, automobile engine theory and technology, etc. In his 30 years of professional work, Comrade Chen Guoquan has obtained 6 personal patents, 5 software copyrights, formulated 5 enterprise product standards, published more than ten professional papers, and won more than ten national and provincial awards, including the first prize of the Science and Technology Progress Award of the State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defence, the Advanced Individual in Technological Innovation of Hunan Province, and the first prize of the Changsha Science and Technology Progress Award.
