From May 20th to 22nd, the 6th Bi-annual Council Meeting of the Piston and Piston Pin Branch of the China Internal Combustion Engine Industry Association, co-organized by Changsha Yipai CNC Machine Tool Co., Ltd., was held in the beautiful city of Changsha. Twenty-three leading domestic piston companies, including Changan Automobile Co., Ltd. Hunan Jiangbin Piston Branch, Binzhou Bohai Piston Co., Ltd., and Chengdu Galaxy Power Co., Ltd., attended the meeting, with 29 representatives in attendance.

Xing Min, Executive Vice President and Secretary-General of the China Internal Combustion Engine Industry Association, attended the meeting to provide guidance and delivered a report titled "Basic Situation, Economic Operation Analysis, and Trend Prediction of the 2015 Engine Industry." The report, based on the current industry situation and macroeconomic development, was comprehensive, forward-looking, and highly instructive.

Jin Ming, General Manager of the Hunan Jiangbin Piston Branch of Changan Automobile Co., Ltd., and Chairman of the Branch, attended the meeting and delivered an important speech on how branch companies should adopt new thinking, consolidate new advantages, and create a new future under the new economic norm.

Xie Shi'an, Secretary-General of the Branch, conveyed the main work content of the China Internal Combustion Engine Association in 2015 and implemented the Branch's work plan for 2015; he also organized participants to attend a special lecture and technical exchange on piston technology.

Our chairman, Zhu Genghong, gave a presentation at the meeting on the "Fourth Overseas Investigation and Exchange of Advanced Internal Combustion Engine Technology" organized by the China Internal Combustion Engine Association in April 2015. He detailed the current situation and trends in the overseas internal combustion engine industry and highlighted three newly launched pieces of equipment: the ECK6520 CNC piston double-column lathe, the ECK2516A CNC irregular external cylindrical vertical lathe, and the ETK2103A CNC piston irregular pin hole boring machine.

After the meeting, accompanied by Chairman Zhu Genghong, the representatives visited our company's machining workshop, assembly workshop, and equipment debugging area, observing the on-site processing of the ECK6520 CNC piston double-column lathe. Recommended by MAHLE GmbH to MAHLE Group factories worldwide as a key model, its unique process design concept and suitability for fully automated piston production lines attracted significant attention and praise from the visiting representatives.

The successful convening of the meeting promoted industry information exchange and strengthened the association's cohesion, marking a significant event for the piston and piston pin industry—key components of internal combustion engines.
