On September 24, 2022, the branch committee of Changsha Yipai Zhidu Technology Co., Ltd. went to Wang Zhen's former residence to carry out a themed party day activity of "Warmly Welcoming the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, Forever Following the Party."
Wang Zhen's former residence is located in Mazhan Village, Beisheng Town, Liuyang City. It is a Hunan Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Unit and a Hunan Provincial Patriotism Education Base. In April 1908, Wang Zhen was born here. Due to his impoverished family background, he dropped out of school and worked several times, both in labor and farming. The hardships of life and the influence of Hunan culture gradually shaped Wang Zhen's ideals of patriotism and national salvation.
"A general who laid the foundation for the country, his heroic deeds are recorded in history; a lifetime of revolution, his great name is revered for generations to come." This couplet in the main hall of Wang Zhen's former residence is a reflection of his life. In his more than 60 years of revolutionary career, Wang Zhen made important contributions to the cause of the liberation of the Chinese people and the cause of socialist construction.
Under the guidance of the explainer, all the party members visited the place where General Wang Zhen lived in his childhood, viewed the photo exhibition of General Wang Zhen's life and the items he left behind, commemorated General Wang Zhen's glorious achievements and revolutionary career, and felt General Wang Zhen's revolutionary spirit of unremitting struggle for the cause of the Party and the people and the spirit of "self-reliance and hard work."
Through this activity, all party members expressed that they have deeply understood the revolutionary spirit of the revolutionary predecessors who dared to be the first and made selfless contributions. They will further strengthen their ideals and beliefs, draw strength from the red culture, continuously improve their party spirit, and always maintain the fighting spirit of a Communist Party member.
